Soluna Holdings has announced an ambitious plan for a 100MW data center named Project Ellen, which will be located alongside a 145MW wind farm in South Texas. The project, named after astronaut Ellen Ochoa, sets forth a strategy to develop the data center in two 50MW phases. Soluna’s Project Kati, a 166MW facility, is also underway in Texas, while Project Sophie, a 25MW data center, is being developed in Kentucky. The company’s aggressive expansion strategy aims to host 698MW of data center capacity across nine sites, reflecting a considerable investment in green energy. Soluna’s long-term pipeline includes 19 projects, potentially adding up to 2.6GW of capacity.
