Tecno, the China-based smartphone manufacturer, has announced its latest Camon 20 series, featuring three phones with a similar design and display that keep up with the current trend of unorthodox camera housing style. The three phones consist of Camon 20 Pro 5G, Camon 20 Pro, and the vanilla Camon 20. All three variants share a 120Hz 6.67-inch AMOLED display and come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Design and Display

The Camon 20 series phones have an unorthodox design with the back camera housing on an island, which looks stylish but different from traditional camera housings. The phones have thin bezels and a small cutout on the left side to house the front camera. The dimensions of all three phones are the same, measuring 170.61mm x 77.18mm x 8.9mm, making them relatively slim.

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a fluid touch experience and display, thereby offering an immersive viewing experience. The screen has excellent brightness levels, making the display visible even under bright sunlight.

Camon 20 Pro 5G

The Camon 20 Pro 5G features MediaTek’s new 6nm Dimensity 8050 chipset, making it one of the first devices to come with this processor. The Dimensity 8050 is a powerful chipset that provides faster overall performance, improved power efficiency, and a better gaming experience. The device also comes with a 6nm Helio G99 SoC.

The phone comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The 33W fast charging feature allows the battery to charge from 0 to 70% in just 30 minutes. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner and runs on Tecno’s HIOS 7.0, which is based on Android 10.

Camon 20 Pro

The Camon 20 Pro comes with a 6nm Helio G99 SoC and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, providing ample opportunity to keep the phone charged throughout the day. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The phone has a rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP macro shooter. The device is equipped with an IPS LCD FullView Display that provides a Full HD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The phone also features an IP53 rating for limited water and dust resistance.

Vanilla Camon 20

The vanilla Camon 20 is equipped with a 12nm Helio G85 processor, which provides excellent performance and improved power efficiency. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging, ensuring that the device doesn’t run out of battery quickly.

The device also comes with an IP53 rating for limited water and dust resistance. The phone has a rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP macro shooter. The front camera has a 16MP resolution and can capture selfies and make video calls. The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner which users can use to unlock the device.

RAM and Storage

All three phones come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 256GB of storage allows users to store all their data, including photos, videos, and applications, without worrying about running out of space. The 8GB of RAM ensures that the device runs smoothly while multitasking, and software applications load quickly.
