Xiaomi to Launch Three Models in Poco F7 Series Later This Year

Xiaomi continues to innovate and expand its smartphone lineup, this time with the impending release of the Poco F7 series, which for the first time will include three models: Poco F7, Poco F7 Pro, and Poco F7 Ultra. Set to launch later this year, these models will succeed the widely appreciated Poco F6 series. The anticipation surrounding the Poco F7 series is heightened by the revelation that the Poco F7 will essentially be a rebadged version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. This forthcoming device will feature Qualcomm’s still unannounced Snapdragon 8s Elite, aiming to deliver top-tier performance. By closely following its tradition, Xiaomi is once again deploying its successful strategy of rebranding Redmi devices for the new Poco series.

Further details indicate that the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra will also follow this rebadging trend. These devices will be renamed versions of the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro, respectively. Model numbers for the Poco F7 models have been identified: “25053PC47G” is set for the global market, and “25053PC47I” will cater to the Indian audience. Conversely, the corresponding model of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be marked “25053RT47C” in China. Such meticulous alignment of model numbers emphasizes Xiaomi’s consistent strategy of repurposing successful models across different brands to target various market segments.

This repeated approach of rebranding reflects Xiaomi’s objective to maintain cost efficiency while continuing to offer high-performance phones under different branding. By leveraging its successful Redmi devices, Xiaomi aims to ensure that its Poco lineup remains competitive in terms of pricing while offering flagship-level features. This strategy has seen substantial success in the past and aligns with Xiaomi’s broader goal of providing affordable yet powerful smartphones. Xiaomi’s persistent efforts in rebranding underscore its commitment to delivering value-driven products that cater to a diverse consumer base, effectively adapting to ever-evolving market demands.
